Rick Alan Smallfoot, 62, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away October 25, 2016 at his home in home in North Platte. He was born July 7, 1964 to Robert L. and Juanita (Mayden) Smallfoot in Cozad, Nebraska.

Rick graduated from Farnam High School with the class of 1982. He farmed with his family, worked for a sanitation company in Gothenburg, Nebraska, then hired on with the UPRR as an electrician, where he was still employed. Rick enjoyed fishing and gardening. His greatest joy were his nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. He will be remembered as their big teddy bear.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Smallfoot, Gothenburg, Nebraska; siblings, Deb (Marc) Alberts, Gothenburg, Nebraska, Rodney (Patricia) Smallfoot, Englewood, Colorado, Michael (Sandy) Smallfoot, Gibbon, Nebraska; along with his nieces, nephews and many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Smallfoot and brother, Gary Smallfoot.
