Don Oliver Metcalf, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Metcalf, was born near Orafino, Nebr., July 1st, 1926. Died December 29, 1926, age five months and twenty nine days.

He leave to mourn his death his father and mother, three brothers, Stanley, Raymond and Gaylord, and three sisters, Ava, Evelyn and Lila, also two grandmothers and a host of other relatives.

All was done that loving hands and medical aid could do but to no avail.

Funeral services were held at the home Thursday at 3 p.m., conducted by Rev. L. H. Messersmith of Stockville. Interment was made in the Orafino cemetery.

A precious one from us is gone,
A smile we loved has fled.
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
