Ingrid Lind

Ingrid Lind was born in Norway September 29, 1847 and passed away May 6, 1941 at her home in Brady, Nebraska.

In Madison, Wisconsin, she was united in marriage to Carl Lind, November 7, 1864. To this union was born seven girls and two boys.

Survivors are two sons, Adolph of Brady and Otto of Ingham; five daughters, Mrs. Josie Marcott, Denver, Col.; Mrs. Nettie Elliott, Brady; Mrs. Katie Danielson, Jerico Springs, Mo.; Mrs. Elsie Thompson, North Platte and Mrs. Jannie Daniels, Brady; 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lind were held Friday afternoon from the Brady Methodist church with Rev. Merle LeFever of Maxwell officiating.

A quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kerr, Martin Brestel, and Mrs. Rauley Camblin sang, “Shall We Gather at the River,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Nearer My God to Thee.” They were accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Frank Smith.

Pallbearers were Arthur Peterson, Axel Carlson, Charles Bloom, Lee Rasmusson, John Johnson and Harry Johnson.
