Hannah M. Hansen, 92, died Sunday at a local nursing home.

She was born June 30, 1898, at Maxwell to Nels and Carrie Nelsen and was raised in Snell Canyon, south of Maxwell, where she attended school. She married Shellie Schneider in [1916] at North Platte. He preceded her in death in 1929.

She was also preceded in death by husbands, Ray Brixey, Hugh Nickerson and Nels Hansen.

Mrs. Hansen was a member of the First Lutheran Church and was active in senior groups for many years.

Survivors include four sons, Lawrence Schneider of Port Angeles, Wash., Loyd and wife Geraldine Schneider of Sequim, Wash., L. V. “Hap” and wife Jean Schneider of North Platte and Earnest and wife Martha Schneider of Omaha; a daughter, Lyona Willis of Independence, Mo.; three sisters, her twin Christina Edis of LaFresno, Texas, Viola Jensen of North Platte and Alma Petersen of Palm Springs, Calif.; 31 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two sons, Albert and Elmer, eight brothers and three sisters.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Nathan Wadewitz officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.

The casket will not be open following services.

A memorial has been established to the church.

Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
