OBITUARY Joseph Campbell
Joseph Campbell was born Dec. 23, 1878 at Slater, Missouri, and departed this life on February 9, 1931, at the home of Delba Morton at the age of 52 years, 1 month and 16 days.
In 1901 he was united in marriage to Isabel Kemper. To this union was born two sons and one daughter. His wife, Isabel, passed away in 1911.
In 1913 he was united in marriage to Etta McCarl Hall, who is well known to many of our readers.
About two years ago Mr. and Mrs. Campbell moved to Montana, where they resided until last fall when they came to Frontier county.
They were expecting to move to a farm northeast of Farnam.
He had been a sufferer of asthma for some years and this combined with influenza developed a complication, which resulted in his death.
The funeral at the house was conducted by Rev. G. E. Truesdell at 3:00 p. m. Tuesday, February 10th. The remains were taken to Randolph, Iowa, for interment.
Mrs. Campbell was accompanied on her sad journey by her sister, Mrs. Clifford McMichael.
The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church.
He is survived by his wife, Etta, his mother, Mrs. Mary Campbell, of Randolph, Iowa, two sons, who reside in Iowa, a daughter whose home is in Montana, a step-daughter, Mrs. Fern Bennett, two brothers and a host of friends.
