DELTA — Mrs. Iris Irene Deane, 88, who died Wednesday at Horizon Nursing Home, had lived in Minturn before moving to the Delta area 20 years ago.

She was the wido of Leonard Deane. They were married at Casper, Wyo., Feb. 3, 1935. Mrs. Deane was born at Moorefield, Neb., July 25, 1885.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Iris Burkhardt of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Beryl Jones of Austin; a son, David Blackmer of Rosemead, Calif.; a brother, a sister, 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
