OCEANSIDE — Ernest L. Eineman, 77, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, in Vista.

Born Dec. 11, 1921, in Omaha, Neb., he lived in Oceanside for 49 years. Retired, he served in the U. S. Marine Corps. He was also retired from civil service.

Mr. Eineman was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Eineman, in 1994; and his sons, Billy Eineman, in 1951, Greg Eineman, in 1959, Richard Eineman, in 1981, and Jeffry Eineman, in 1994. He is survived by his son, Ernest Leroy Eineman, Jr. of Oceanside; daughter Brenda Grenier of Oceanside; brother Elmer Eineman of Oceanside; sister Carolynn Taylor of Bishop; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Eternal Hills Mortuary. A funeral service is scheduled for noon Monday, Feb. 22, also at Eternal Hills Mortuary. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
