Mrs. I. Sexton 81, Resident 43 Years, Dies
Mrs. Isabelle Sexton, 81, widow of the late Edward H. Sexton and Park county resident for the past 43 years, died on June 23 at Anaconda and funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Grace EUB church by the Rev. L. E. Magsig. Music was by Ethel Magsig and Margaret Heinrich.
Burial was in Mountain View cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Sexton and Dennis Berlin of Livingston, Milton Howard, Jr., of Ryegate, Walter Howard of Forsyth, Frank Howard of Miles City and Carl Yarndt of Santa Anna, Cal.
Mrs. Sexton, who was born in David City, Neb., Aug. 29, 1883, attended schools there and was married to [Erastus] H. Sexton when she was 18. Surviving are two sons, Clarence of Silesia and John of Livingston; four daughters, Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Viola Oikle of Livingston, Mrs. Claressa Howard of Miles City and Mrs. Slettebo of Anaconda; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Her husband, a son and daughter preceded her in death. She was a member of the Grace EUB church, Park County Pioneers Society and the National Federation of Republican Women.
