OBITUARY
[Carl] I. Stinman was born in Adair County, Iowa, July 6, 1878, and passed away November 6, at the age of 73 years and 4 months.
He spent his young manhood on a farm near Fontenelle, Iowa.
September 2, 1908, he was united in marriage to Miss Martha Herrick of Fontenelle. To this union four children were born, one daughter Eleanor, three sons, Warren, Calvin and Eldon, south of Farnam. Calvin preceeded his father in death, a casualty of World War 2.
In 1916 he and his family moved to Curtis and spent the remainder of his life in the Curtis, Moorefield and Stockville communities.
He is survived by his wife, three children, three sisters, three brothers.
He was a member of Odd Fellows lodge of Fontenelle.
Funeral services were Friday in the Stockville Congregational church Elder E. E. Giesler of Moorefield in charge. Burial at Stockville.
