Funeral services for Royal J. Donelson, 72, of 1002 Sunset ave., who died Friday, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Conger-Morris Funeral home, the Rev. Katharine Bosworth of the Unity Center will officiate. Cremation will be private in Siskiyou crematorium.

Mr. Donelson was born Dec. 23, 1886, in Essex, Iowa, and on June 23, 1920, at Rockford, Ill., he married Clara Bigsby, who survives.

He had lived in this community for the past 20 years. He served for a year in the Army in England and France during World War I.

Mr. Donelson was a member of Oshkosh lodge 27, F&AM of Oshkosh, Wis., Ivan chapter 58, R.A.M.; Walter F. Meier council 22, R&SM; Rose chapter 81, Order of Eastern Star, all of Bothell, Wash.

Surviving, besides his wife, are four brothers, Percy Donelson, Bothell, Wash., Lester Donelson of Iowa, Bert Donelson, North Platte, Neb., and Vincent Donelson, Grand Island, Neb., and one sister, Mrs. Lily Oman, North Platte, Neb.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norvin R. Walters, Ben F. Ellison, Arthur L. Schrick, William A. Hastain, Shelva R. Hale and Patrick Graham.
