Chas. Weber Found Dead

When making his delivery of mail Wednesday of last week, Fred Miller noted that Charles Weber had not taken the mail from his box that week. Later, he in company with Bob King and Weaver Cole made entrance into the house where Mr. Weber lived alone and found him dead in bed. A doctor was called and he pronounced death as caused by heart failure, probably Sunday.


Obituary

Charles Weber was born April 15, 1879, at Wurtemburg, Germany, and departed this life at his home in Farnam, Nebraska, on April 15, 1951, at the age of 72 years. He was confirmed at the age of 14 years in the Lutheran church in Germany. In 1900 he immigrated to America, coming directly to Eustis. Shortly afterward a farm was purchased in the Farnam vicinity and it was here that he made his home until 1924 when he retired and moved into Farnam where he made his home until the time of his death.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Laura Norden and Mrs. Louise Lanum at Ansley and Mrs. Freda P..... .. Lincoln, and two brothers.....at Denver, Colorado and .......Kansas. Also two nephews and one niece as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Eustis Friday afternoon, April 20, with Rev. Otto A. Quaife , pastor of the church, as officiating minister. The music was furnished by a double male quartet composed of Fred, Otto, John, Walter, Edwin and Charlie Hueftle, Fred Timm and Max Bartruff. Pallbearers were John, Albert and William Bosch. Oscar Hueftle, Bob King and Harve McNickle. Interment was in the Eustis cemetery.
