MOOREFIELD — Vaughn F. Hand, 65, a Moorefield resident for 60 years, died Saturday evening at a Gothenburg hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1908 at Fairfield and was a rancher and farmer.

Survivors include his widow, Esther; three daughters, Mrs. Donna Otis of Ft. Morgan, Colo., Mrs. Darlene Dizmang of Moorefield and Mrs. Margaret Gates of Palisade; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Hand of Moorefield.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Berean Fundamental Church at Curtis with the Rev. Clyde White officiating. Burial will be in Moorefield Cemetery with Wetzel Funeral Home of Curtis in charge of arrangements.
