Anna Eliza Knoedler
Anna Eliza Hirschmiller was born March 27, 1884 at Savanna, Illinois and died October 17, 1938 at the Cozad hosptital, at the age of fifty-four years. She came with her parents to Farnam, Nebr., when she was a year old. There she grew to womanhood and was married to Ernest Knoedler in February 1901 at Farnam. In 1918 she and her husband and family moved to Cozad where she spent the remainder of her life.
To mourn her passing she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Palmer of North Platte, and Mrs. Clara Cochran of Farnam; four sons, Benjamin, Elmer and Roy, all of Cozad and John of Farnam. Two sisters also survive her, Mrs. Oliver Clement of Farnam and Mrs. Rudolph Carlson of Ragan. There are eleven living grandchildren.
Her husband and three children, Harry Lester, Viola Arlene and Florence Lucille, preceeded her in death.
