Funeral services were held at 9:00 A. M. Wednesday, August 25th in St. Phillip and James Catholic Church in Grand Mound, Iowa, for Lawrence F. Dalton, son of the late John Dalton of Farnam. Lawrence was born at Farnam, September 7, 1895 and died August 23, 1937, at a veteran hospital in Danville, Ill., after a lingering illness. He was a veteran of the World War.

Services were in charge of Post 622 American Legion. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Dalton’s home was in Omaha, Nebraska. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ralph Powers of Omaha, and two brothers, Ernest of Hastings and Ervin Dalton of Grand Mound, Ia.
