Edward Lehman Is Called To His Heavenly Reward
Edward Henry Lehman was born on April 16, 1901 at Haystown, Sherman Co., Nebr., and departed this early life at the Farnam Hospital, September 25, 1925, age 24 years, 5 months and 9 days. Death came as the result of appendicitis.
He moved with his parents to Frontier Co. when five years of age and has grown to young manhood in the community where they reside.
Edward accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when yet a boy and has lived his life reverently as a faithful Christian should thereby gaining the highest of all who know him. He leave to mourn his going, his father and mother, two brothers, Harold and Roland of Farnam and two sisters, Ida also of Farnam, and Mrs. Fred Oberg of Redmond, Ore., besides a vast group of friends and other relatives.
Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the home. Rev. C. B. Johnson in charge. From there the funeral party went to Ravenna, where services were again held Sunday afternoon at the home of and uncle Ben Finder and interment was made in the Haystown cemetery.
Merle Hazen, Raymond Smith, Glenn Berry, Ernest Klein, Frank Martin accompanied the procession as pall bearers.
Edward left a testimony that he was saved and gone to his home in Heaven. This our loss is Heaven’s gain.
