Delbert H. Todd,
Retired Engineer,
Dies At Home

Delbert H. Todd, 65, a retired Union Pacific engineer died Friday evening at his home, 415 West Ninth. He had been ill two years.

Todd resided in North Platte since 1913, coming from Moorefield. He was born July 29, 1885 at Angus, Nuckolls county. He had been employed by the railroad for 34 years, retiring in November, 1946.

Todd was a member of the Methodist church, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Surviving are his widow, Jessie; two sons, Fay E. of North Platte and Clarence A. of Oakland, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Eglehoff and Mrs. Frances Zeigler, North Platte; two brothers, Verne of Moorefield and Merton of Curtis; two sisters, Mrs. Maude McLaughlin, Curtis and Mrs. Vella Herndon, North Platte; and 11 grandchildren.

The Maloney, Cox Kuhns funeral home is in charge of arrangements which are pending.
