CURTIS — Esther E. Todd, 97, died July 2, 1996, at a Curtis nursing home. She was born June 23, 1899, at Moorefield.

She was a longtime cook for the area schools.

Mrs. Todd is survived by a daughter-in-law, Shirley Todd of Scottsbluff; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Eldon, Dean and Lyle.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stan LaRue officiating. Burial will be in the Moorefield Cemetery.

Wetzel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
