Emma R. Collister, 85, died Friday, Jan. 5, 1951 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Isaacs, at El Monte Calif.

Mrs. Collister was born Mar. 31, 1865. She lived all her life in Nebraska with the exception of the last 8 years. During this time she had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Isaacs at El Monte. In 1884 she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Collister and to this union was born 6 children. She was preceded in death by her husband and three children, Bert, Harry adn Nellie. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Isaacs, two sons, Jess of Los Angeles, Calif., and Victor of Colorado Springs, Colo., and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

While she lived in California her thoughts were always of the people she knew and loved in Weeping Water.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., at the chapel of the Hobson Funeral home. Rev. Harry Hart will officiate. Mrs. Neil Fitzpatrick, accompanied by Miss Maude Moulton, will furnish the music. Burial will be in the Oakwood cemetery. The Hobson Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
