The sad news came Saturday that Will Thompson had been killed in an accident on Friday, March 4th.

He will no doubt be remembered by many of the older settlers, although he left here in 1894 and went to Colo., later going on to Everett, Washington.

At the time of his death he was State Building Inspector. Thus far we have been unable to learn the particulars of the accident which caused his untimely death.

He leaves a brother, J. W. Thompson and a sister, Mrs. B. F. Kerr, of this place beside a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.

We extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives in their sorrow.
