Frank Arthur Deeds was born on July 7, 1892 at Farnam, Nebraska to Fred and Harriet Angeline (Murray) Deeds.

He married Dora Kent on May 14, 1916 at Grand Island, Nebraska. Together they had three children, Esther May, Fred A, and Howard E. Dora and the babies, Esther and Fred, all died during the influenza epidemic that swept the country from 1918-1919. Their son Howard was then raised by Frank's second wife Violet.

Frank married Violet (Kelley) Deeds on June 19, 1921 at Grand Island, Nebraska. Together they had nine children.

Frank is survived by six sons, Howard E., Lloyd A., Marion E., Robert, Henry A. and Roger A. Deeds; and four daughters, Dorothy Mae (Robert) Fox, Shirley (Charles) Buehrer, Carol (Paul) Karash and Janice (Harold) Callan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Harriet Deeds, his first wife, Dora: his second wife, Violet; a son, Fred Deeds; and daughter, Esther May Deeds.
