Funeral Services For
Mrs. Thomas Masteller
Were Held Tuesday

Emma Murray, the daughter of Robert and Rebecca Murray, was born May 22, 1863, at Goshen, Ind.

On Sept. 29, 1888, she was united in marriage to Hamilton Willis, and to this union was born one son. Mr. Willis was killed in a mine explosion in Missouri, Jan. 27, 1891.

She came to Nebraska in 1891, and the following year, on Oct. 12, 1892, she was united in marriage to Thomas Masteller and to this union were born two daughters.

Mrs. Masteller was preceded in death by one daughter, one sister, and three brothers.

She was a member of the Methodist church of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Masteller; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Schaumann of Omaha; one son, Oren Willis, of Gothenburg; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Boyce of North Platte; six grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 7, at the Olesen Funeral Home at two-thirty, Rev. Gale A. Moon, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Mrs. GertrudeSchwanz sang “Rock of Ages” and “Jesus Lover of My Soul,” accompanied by Mrs. Emily Pramberg at the organ. Six nephews served as pallbearers: Morris Devine, Wayne Devine, Dale Devine, Gilbert Devine, Leonard and Orval Hilton. Interment was in Gothenburg cemetery
