Evie Pearl Worley, 91, died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was born April 22, 1896, in Lake Arthur, La., to Grant and Cora Barbee Fisher. As a child she moved with her parents to the Moorefield community. In 1915 she married Roy Worley. They spent their married life in Frontier county.

In 1979 Mrs. Worley moved to North Platte.

Survivors include a son, Vernon of Billings, Mont.; two daughters, Wilma (Mrs. Kenneth) White of North Platte and Velna (Mrs. Arthur) Herndon of Moorefield; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Prec by husband, a brother, two grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Walter Lemmerman of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Curtis officiating. Burial will be in the Curtis Cemetery.
