Mrs. J. J. Baker Dies Sunday Afternoon At Two O’clock
After suffering with ill health for more than 20 years, Mrs. J. J. Baker died Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home in Lyman.
To know her was to love her, always ready to assist and comfort those in sorrow and need. Mrs. Baker had been a faithful member of the Christian church for fifty years and her death being only a victory over this life.
Mary Sexton Baker was born October 31, 1859. She was united in marraige to J. J. Baker on August 7, 1881, in and to this union were born, Grace Wollam of Lyman; Earnest of Casper; Arthur of near Yoder and Earl of Lingle, also Gay Banzhaf who preceded her to that greater reward.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Lyman, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, and Interment was made at the Torrington cemetery.
