Services for Frank Rylander On Saturday
Frank Rylander, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rylander, was born at Farnam, Nebr. January 1, 1887. He closed the book of this earthly life at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital, December 20, 1962, at the age of 75 years.
On August 15, 1946, he was united in marriage to Ruth Portner Arlt at Lexington, Nebr.
His early life was spent with his parents on the farm at Farnam, later he moved to North Platte. The past 35 years, he had resided in Gothenburg, Nebr.
For several years he was employed as custodian of the Chevrolet Company here in Gothenburg.
Mr. Rylander was kind and friendly. He enjoyed life and living. It was his greatest joy to be helpful to everyone.
He united with the Church of the Nazarene in Gothenburg ten years ago, and had always been very faithful in his attendance.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Ruth, and one daughter, Ruth Lena. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Church of the Nazarene, the pastor, Rev Rutha J. Rice, officiating. Music was by Jay Rice and Miss Lucile Kokes, and the pallbearers were Alfred McDermott, Newton McKim, Oscar Cumpston, Leonard Olson, William Banks and Martin Wright. Interment was in Gothenburg Cemetery.
