Funeral service for Mrs. Harriet Sherwood, 74, who collapsed Saturday while out for a walk, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the A. J. Rose & Son chapel. Her pastor, Dr. Edward A. Wolfe of Sunnyside Methodist church, where she was a long-time member, will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in Rose City cemetery. Mrs. Sherwood was the widow of B. F. Sherwood, a former Portland policeman. She was a native of Michigan and came here in 1904. Since 1905 she had made her home at 3423 SE Main street. She was a member of Sunnyside Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors. A daughter, Mrs. E. E. Horning, Portland; three grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Sodeberg, Denver, survive.
