Obituary
Mrs. Carlina Sodacott was born in Germany, Feb. 12, 1839. Died at North Platte, Nebr., May 18, 1912. She leaves to mourn her untimely rest, her husband and eight children. She was married to John Dressler in 1859. To this union were born six children. This family union was broken up by the death of Mr. Dressler in 1870. Later she married Christian Sodacott, and to them were born two children, Mrs. Wm. Peterson of Farnam and Mrs. Wm. Stoner of Gothenburg.

MRS. SODACOT DIES.
Passes Away at Physicians and Sur- geons Hospital Saturday
Mrs. Caroline Sodacott died at Physicians and Surgeons hospital at 11:30 o’clock Saturday, May 18, of infirmatives due to advanced age. She was 74 years old and had been ill, for several months, but had only been in the hospital nine days. Christian Sodacott, her husband, was with her when the end came.
She was born in Germany and came to this country with her parents at an early age and they settled down in Illinois, where she got married, later coming west. Her first husband died at Lebanon, Ill., and she was married to Christian Sodacott in 1877, living in different sections of the country and finally settling in North Platte, where they have resided for the last three years.
Mrs. Sodacott leaves besides a husband to mourn her eight children, scattered over different sections of the country. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson and children of Gothenburg, Mrs. Caroline Stoner of Gothenburg and Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Dressler of Bertrand, Neb., were called here by her death. Short services were held at the Howe & Maloney undertaking parlors yesterday, Rev. Harmon officiating. Mrs. Chris Sodacott was a member of the German Lutheran church.
Her remains were shipped on No. 16 yesterday morning to Lebanon, Ill., her old home, where a husband by former marriage and one child are buried. She was a devout christian and a devoted wife and good neighbor and was patient in her suffering, never complaining and when the time came for her to depart this life she was ready to go.
