OBITUARY

Leila Josephine Nickerson was born November 1, 1898 at Stockville, Nebr., and died at the Farnam hospital October 20, 1932, age 33 years 11 months and 18 days.

She was the youngest of six children, all of whom are living except one brother Howard whose life wasa taken during the World War, October 1918.

Miss Nickerson was married to Carl Parker Ommert November 19, 1917, to which union were born three sons, Eldon Clifford, Earl Dewey, and Howard Ronald.

She leaves to mourn her departure a husband, three children, her mother Mrs. Clara Messersmith, four brothers, Milo, Henry, Clifford of Orafino, and Fred of Carleton, Michigan; beside other relatives and innumerable friends.

Funeral services were held at the Orafino Evangelical Church Saturday, October 22, Rev. M. F. Lempke officiating. Burial was made in the Cambridge cemetery.

Let us be patient!
These severe afflictions
Not from the ground arise;
But oftentimes celestial benedictions
Assume a dark disguise.
