Lawrence Stickell, 50 years of age, who has resided on the former Nels Nelson farm west of town the past few years, apparently fell from a windmill on a rented farm Friday afternoon and was found by his wife that evening, having been dead for some time. He had gone to the field to work and left word for his wife to come for him.

He is also survived by two daughters, and was a brother-in-law to G. E. Mangus.

Funeral services were held at Moorefield Monday with burial at Bartley.
