Fred W. Callahan of Farnam passed away on Thursday in Gothenburg Memorial Hospital. He was born in Arnold on March 17, 1890.

Mr. Callahan is survived by four sons, Pat and Bert of Brady, Bill and Bud of Farnam; and four daughters, Mrs. Lilly Reutzel of Maxwell, Mrs. Amy Lind of Farnam, Mrs. Irene Lind of Palisade, Colo., and Mrs. Mary Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, La.; many other relatives, and a host of friends.

Services were held Monday afternoon at the McVay Chapel, conducted by Rev. Marvin McDougle, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Brady. Mrs. Robert Hecox and Mrs. Clifford Geiken sang, with Mrs. Gene Hecox accompanist. Pallbearers were Robert, Larry, Tom, and Doug Callahan; Merle, Mark, and Lonnie Lind, and Danny Reutzel. Interment was in Gaslin Cemetery, south of Brady.
