Hardin Resident Drops Dead In Helena Store
Mrs. Ethel Louise English, 71, fell dead of a heart attack in a grocery store at 138 South Main yesterday afternoon. A resident of Hardin, she had been in Helena visiting her daughter, Mrs. Charles Brown of 466 West Main, for the past 11 days.
She had been in poor health since 1946.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Sept. 18, 1881, she was married to John Caster in Nebraska in 1898. They lived at North Platte and Farnam, Neb., until 1913, when they moved to Grass Creek, Wyo. oil fields.
In 1921, she was married to John English, and the couple came to Hardin in 1934. Mr. English died in March of this year.
Survivors include four sons, Marion Caster, Hill City, S. D.; Homer Caster, Casper, Wyo.; Harold Caster, Gillette, Wyo., and Ed English of California; four daughters, Lucy Tate of Hardin, Mrs. Ora McGurn of Moore Croft, Wyo., Ethel Payne of Salem, Ore., and Mrs. Charles Brown of Helena. She is survived by 60 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mildred Adams of Seattle.
The body is at Herrmann and company funeral home. Arrangements are pending.
