Solomon Wilber Fender
Dies 3 P.M. Sundat At
His Grand Avenue Home

Solomon Wilber Fender died at 3 p.m. Sunday at his home on East Grand Avenue.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Martin drawing room chapel. Details will be announced later.

Mr. Fender was born Feb. 5, 1860, in Indiana, the son of Henry and Olive Ann Fender. He spent his childhood in Illinois.

The deceased married Katie Elizabeth Cole May 14, 1882, at Emerson, Iowa. They lived at Emerson a year, moving from there to Seward county, Neb. They resided in several other places in Nebraska, including Keith county, before moving to Cheyenne Wells, Colo. in 1927. They removed to Grand Junction in 1936.

Surviving are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Lily Easton, Omaha, Neb.; four sons, Martin, Grand Junction, Solomon, Arvada, and Ray, Ogallala, Neb.; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
