William L. Chittock died Tuesday at his home, 55 Washington, at the age of 73 years. He was born, September 8, 1867, in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Nebraska, Idaho, and Utah before coming to Eugene in 1920. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Ashton, Idaho, and is survived by his wife, Ettie; three sons, Cleon and Clinton of Eugene and Charles of Medford; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Brewer of Fall Creek; five grandchildren; two brothers, H. K. Chittock of Long Beach and I. V. Chittock of Wadsworth, Ohio.

Funeral services will be announced by the Veatch chapel.
