Evelyn Smith was born at Fairhaven, New York, April 29, 1876, and came to Nebraska when eleven years of age.

She was married to Wm. McNett Oct. 23, 1898. To this union was born three children all of whom are living.

She became a Christian when 14 years old and continued to live a Christian the rest of her life.

She died Oct. 25, 1915, aged 39 years, 5 months and 26 days. She was a kind and loving mother and a friend to everyone.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Arthur Atack Tuesday afternoon at Banner church and the body laid to rest in the Peckham cemetery.
