Edmund A. Champlin Dies
In South Abington Home

Edmund A. Champlin, 70, a native of North Abington township for the past 14 years, died in his home on the Morgan highway in South Abington township yesterday morning at 9:50 o’clock. Mr. Champlin was a member of the Chinchilla M. E. church and the Electric Star Lodge, I.O.O.F., Clarks’s Summit. He is survived by two sons, Arthur Champlin, of Scranton, and Norman Champlin, of Newton; a daughter, Miss Mary Champlin, at home, and a brother Louis Champlin, a master pressman at the Scranton Sun plant.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon. Rev. Lowrey, pastor of the Chinchilla M. E. church, will read the services in the edifice at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be in North Chincilla cemetery.
