Vernon C. Kingrey, 86, a resident of Gering for many years died Tuesday night at the home of his son, Floyd Kingrey, 1935 Thirteenth street, Gering. He had only recently made his home there.

Mr. Kingrey, a retired farmer and realtor, was born Nov. 19, 1859. He was a member of the Gering Christian church.

Besides his son in Gering, there survive two other sons, Harry of Nyssa, Ore., and Doss of Veradale, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two sons, Frank, who died last September, and Conrad, preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Boley funeral home in Gering.
