Thankful Jane McNett died Tuesday night, March 12, at the home of her son, Wm. McNett, on the south side, aged 91 years, 4 months, 16 days.

The funeral services was held Friday at the Banner M. E. church conducted by Rev. A. M. Shepperd, and interment was made in the Peckham cemetery.

Thankful Jane Deming was born in Massachussetts, October 26, 1820. Moved to Troy City, New York in 1825 and to the state of Michigan in 1836. She was married on July 3, 1843 to Wm. McNett and to this union eight children were born, of whom four are living. The family moved to Indiana in 1866 and the husband died in 1873. Mrs. McNett then moved to Nebraska in 1881 and to Dawson county in 1884.
