Albert Carpenter, 68 years of age, a native of Ohio and resident in Long Beach for the past six months, died at his home, corner of Fourth and Almond streets at twelve o’clock last night. Mr. Carpenter left a widow and one daughter, the latter at present in Ohio. THere is also a brother and sister in that state. Deceased was a member of the G.A.R. which body will take charge of the funeral exercises, which will occur at 3 o’clock Sunday afternnon at the late home.
