An Old Resident Gone
From the Lincoln Star we learn of the death of a former resident of Riverton, Mr. Isaac Burner.
“Isaac Burner, a veteran of the civil war, died Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock, at his home, 2948 Clinton street. He was 60 years of age. He had been a member of the Ninety-second Illinois regiment, and was affiliated with the G.A.R. post of this city. The funeral services will be in charge of Farragut post No. 25, and will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the residence.”
The many Riverton friends of the family are saddened to hear of Mr. Burner&rsqou;s death, and the Grand Army of this city loses a member and comrade. Mr. Burner resided here a number of years.
