Rev. Constant Joseph Carmichael died at his home in Hopkins, last Saturday. He was ninety-four years of age, and had been a Baptist preacher in northwest Missouri and southern Iowa, for fifty-two years, but retired several years ago. He was widely known in Andrew, Nodaway, Harrison and other counties where he preached. He leaves several children. Funeral Sunday, at Bradyville, Iowa, where his wife was buried thirty years ago.
