John Milton Souder died last Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alice Austin, with whom he had made his home for a number of years, having been an invalid and patient sufferer since December 28, 1925.

Mr. Souder was born October 7, 1859, and was 76 years, 7 months and 8 days of age at the time of his death. He was married to Annette Bigford October 15, 1879. She preceded him in death on December 21, 1907. To this union were born 10 children. Mrs. Alice Austin of Curtis, Eugene K. Souder, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. A. E. Rishel, North Platte; Samuel M., Des Moines; Mrs. Susie L. Sowie, North Platte; Mrs. Roy DeLate, Moorefiled; Peter W. Souder, Paxton; Joe L. Souder, North Platte; Clark Souder, Paxton and Edna who departed this life in 1919. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Souder moved to Moorefield in 1892, where he lived for 33 years, going to North Platte in 1927 and later to the home of his daughter in Curtis who cared for him faithfully during the last four years of his long illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Moorefield, conducted by Rev. H. C. Johnson. Burial was in the Moorefield cemetery.
