Ferdinand Schmidt, aged 84, died at the home of his son, Albert Schmidt, southwest of Fairbury, two miles, on Wednesday evening at 7:30. Death resulted from old age. Another son is Ed Schmidt of this county.

The funeral will be at the house today at 2:30.
