Daniel Franklin Dameron
Daniel Franklin Dameron, 68, a resident of Box Elder canyon, passed away at 1:15 P.M. Sunday at his home near Maxwell, following a lingering illness covering a period of a number of months.
He was born January 2, 1868 in Marquand, Mo. He spent ten years in well-drilling in Lincoln county. In 1905 he located on a farm in Box Elder canyon where he continued to reside until his death.
The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Martha Dameron; two sons—Roy, of Delhi, Calif., and Ray, of Maxwell; one daugther, Mrs. Edna Brown, of Maxwell; and nine grandchildren. One son, Clarence, passed away in 1935 in California, and a daughter, Mildren, died in infancy.
Funeral services will be held from the Baptist church in Maxwell, Wednesday afternoon at 2 P.M., and interment will be made in Plainview cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the Hutchins-Adams Funeral Home until time for the services.
