Alfred Woodsum Succombs Here
Alfred I. Woodsum, father of Mrs. Howard M. Skeels of Reno, died early this morning at his daughter’s home on California avenue. A week ago he suffered a stroke, and owing to his advanced age, he did not recover.
Mr. Woodsum was born in Maine and was eighty-one years old. For many years he was a grain dealer in Nebraska, and after retiring fifteen years ago, made his home in Southern California. He had visited in Reno many times, and seven weeks ago he came to visit his daughter. Another daughter, Mrs. D. W. Larmer of Los Angeles, also survives.
The body is at the Ross-Burke home chapel and will be accompanied to Los Angeles tonight where the funeral services and burial will be held.
