Thomas Taylor, a resident of Frontier county for 62 years, died Wednesday, March 15.

He was 88 years old.

Mr. Taylor was born in England, and emigrated to this country when about 21. In 1888 he homesteaded south of Moorefield. In 1918 he moved to his home just southeast of Curtis.

Mr. Taylor served four terms as a county commissioner, and was always active in community and county affairs.

He is survived by his widow, and one son, Lester, of Moorefield, and two daughters, Mrs. Amy Price and Mrs. Mabel Nutt of Curtis.

Funeral arrangements are not complete, but they will be held at the Congregational church with the Rev. Max Volkmann in charge. Carstensens are in charge of arrangements.
