Charles H. Maley Obituary.
Charles, second son of William and Eliza Stevens Maley, was born at Oquawka, Illinois, September 15, 1852. He died at his home near Chandler January 30, 1931, at the age of 78 years four months and 11 days.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Maley and two daughters, Mrs. C. N. Pence of Cushing, Okla., and Mrs. H. E. Neil of Okmulgee; and two sons, Charles, Jr., of Minneapolis, Minn., and Robert of Des Moines, Iowa; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Maley of MOnterey, Calif., and five stepchildren, Ernest Martie of Chandler, Mrs. Ben Winkelman of Chandler, Mrs. S. E. Freeman of Oklahoma City, Albert Martie of Chandler, and Katherine of Chandler.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret, aged 22 years, and one son who died in infancy.
Mr. Maley was a quiet unassuming man honest and fair with his fellowmen, and during his long stay in this vicinity he has gained the respect of a large circle of friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held from the O. R. Savage chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and burial was made in Oak Park cemetery.
