John M. Kennedy, former Valley resident, died at a hospital in Hillsboro, Ore., April 13, according to word received here by Mrs. Grace Kennedy. He had been confined to the hospital after breaking his hip in a fall at his home in Hillsboro.

He leaves his wife, a daughter, two daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren. During his residence in the Valley, Mr. Kennedy operated a ranch below Ennis and Jeffers.
