Conrad Callihan
Unsuccessful in an attempt to end his life by slashing his throat with a butcher knife last Monday morning, Conrad Callihan, 52 of Lewistown, is recovering at a Kirksville hospital. He lost considerable blood but the blade missed the large arteries. The gash however extended from ear to ear and laid open the voice box. Mr. Callihan had been despondent since his wife died a few months ago.
