Frank E. Hawkenbery, 79, died Thursday at his home, 801 So. Prospect St. He had lived here 10 years. Surviving are his wife, Julia; three sons, Glenn R. of Tacoma, Leonard W. of Pueblo, Colo., and Eugene B. of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Gillihan and Miss Dorothy Hawkenbery of Tacoma, and six grandchildren. —Taken from a Tacoma, Wash., paper.

Frank E. Hawkenbery homesteaded just southeast of Farnam on the NW1/4 of section 6-8-25 in 1884. He moved 30 years ago to Plattsmouth, Nebr., where he lived 20 years, and then moved to Tacoma, Washington where he died.
