Mary Etta Parker was born August 19, 1864 at Clay Pool, Indiana, and departed this life July 20, 1934 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 1 day.

She was united in marriage to John Ommert February 4, 1892. In March they moved to their home at Orafino where she lived till the time of her death.

To this union seven children were born all of whom are living. She was a kind and loving mother and always thoughtful of others.

She has been in poor health the past year but has been a patient sufferer never complaining.

In the year 1893 she was converted and united with the Evangelical church to which she was always faithful, a devout member. She has been a faithful member of the missionary society and ladies aid.

She leaves to mourn her departure three sons, Otto, Carl and Claire, four daughters, Achsa Messersmith, Esther, Lois Rosenfelt and Ruth Frommer, eleven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Jane Carman and Mrs. Rosa Baker of Clay Pool, Indiana, and other relatives and a host of friends. Her husband preceded her death October 2, 1932.
