Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Mary Powell, of Pomona, Calif., on December 19. Mrs. Powell was a resident of this community many years until she moved to California in 1919. She owned a farm 2 miles northwest of Farnam, which was rented by the Wm. Murray family until recently.
